• Explain the purpose of and impact of a number of Munich re clauses
• Explain how Return Periods operate and the impact of return clauses on the insurance provided
• Explain the benefits of purchasing Delay in Start Up and Latent Defects Insurance
• Describe the cover provided and how sums insured are calculated in Delay in Start Up and Latent Defects Insurance policies

Contract Works

• Review of major extensions and exclusions
• The Defects Exclusion clauses
• Maintenance Cover, the Defects Liability Period
• WTW and Munich re clauses including Flooding, Piling, Tunnelling, Cable & piles and sections
• Return Periods and the impact of return clauses on flood protection

Delay in Start Up

• Why buy it?
• The policy Cover
• Setting the sum insured and the difference between gross profit and debt service/fixed costs
• Application of the time excess

Latent Defects Insurance

• Why buy it?
• The policy Cover

This workshop will be delivered online with a trainer via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, over a two half-day session, on the 25 & 26 February 2025, 13:30-16:30 (UK).
