Strategic Management & Planning

Corporate Training

An effective board establishes a sustainable business model and a clear strategy consistent with it

PRA Corporate Governance and Board Responsibilities

A clear and articulated business model, well thought out strategy and robust governance are not just regulatory “box ticking exercises” but a commercial imperative regardless of industry. This first module introduces the business model, strategy creation and business planning.

In insurance this is often an underdeveloped skill: often never learned before you have to do it for real as a board director, and then learning “on the job”. This module offers the fundamental processes and stages as a spine from which hang the practical “doing”. The best practice is neither scientific nor formulaic, but whatever approach is chosen, this can be the start point.

Who should attend?

Managers, Team Leaders and all those seeking to expand their skills on the topic. Wherever you are on your career journey, developing and maintaining your personal and professional skills helps to ensure you continue to grow and thrive.
