Mortgage Adviser

Level 3 - England

Course Summary

With this apprenticeship, employees learn the skills needed to advise clients on mortgages and related products. Mortgage advice can come from several types of business – for example, banks and building societies talking directly to consumers, or intermediaries, such as independent brokers or advisers, linked to an estate agent or new homes developer. Due to recent changes in legislation, including the ‘Mortgage Market Review’, the role of the mortgage adviser has become more technical, with increased regulatory requirements, and there’s a growing demand for qualified practitioners in this sector.
